A groundswell of support from companies, families, and individuals over the past 39 years has mobilized the Alzheimer's Association into the global leader with the highest impact in Alzheimer's research. As part of this historic moment, we are thrilled to announce, "Ignite, An Event to Remember," our 2021 Gala. The May 2021 event steps onto the stage to join a handful of elite U.S. events that mobilize influential families and companies in pursuit of our mission.

Terrance Friday - FOX4 Saturday Good Day Anchor

 We are pleased to welcome Terrance Friday from FOX4 as our MC to spark excitement throughout this years 2021 Ignite, an Event to Remember Gala. Terrance has achieved his longtime dream of working in Dallas, TX. "It's the perfect fusion of southern charm, and big city living." These were two things that were a major part of his childhood. With this and the passion of journalism, Terrance is the perfect fit to showcase the Dallas & Northeast TX Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association's second annual gala event for all those near and far to show their support for an exceptional cause.

Mission Speakers -Jan & Randy Haberer

The Alzheimer's Association is thankful to have the opportunity share the passionate and impactful story of Jan & Randy Haberer. We hope you will join the beautiful couple in sharing the Mission moment of Jan's diagnosis several years ago with Mild Cognitive Impairment, and her journey of discovery with her husband Randy and the incredible ways they have chosen to step forward together in strength, which truly defines the Alzheimer's Association mission.

Honoring -Marie Silverthorn & Bill Giolma

The Alzheimer's Association Dallas Chapter is pleased to be honoring Marie Silverthorn and Bill Giolma with the Heilmeier/Jarvie Lifetime Achievement Award during this year's upcoming annual gala, Ignite, An Event to Remember. The duo are being honored for their dedication to the Alzheimer's Association mission.  Their passion and drive are truly an inspiration and we are elated to honor Marie and Bill for this years one of a kind Gala event.
